2010 Official Registration

Registration and equipment fitting will be on Sunday, July 25, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and on Thursday, July 29, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Belleville High School Commons. Any boy or girl who will be in grades 4-8 this fall and either attends or resides in the Belleville or Albany School Districts can participate. At this time, the $35 registration fee needs to be paid. This covers all necessary equipment except for shoes and a practice jersey. If you need a practice jersey, an additional $20 fee will be needed. The jersey is yours to keep if you complete one season. A $200 equipment deposit is also paid at this time. We prefer that you write a separate check for the deposit. This check will not be cashed and will be returned to you at the end of the season if the equipment is returned in good condition.

To register, the player and a parent or guardian needs to be present to complete three forms, which include health questions. You will need to provide your physician's name and phone number, your hospital and its phone number, as well as the name of your medical health insurance provider and policy number. There will be a form for our program and two for the Dane County Area Youth Football League of which we are a member. You can download all three forms ahead of time. If you are a first year player you will need to bring a copy of your birth certificate that we keep and send to the league office. The player should come in a t- shirt and mesh shorts to aid us in sizing equipment. We will be handing out August practice schedules and all of the equipment needed for the start of practice on Tuesday, August 10th at the Sugar River Park.

If you know of anyone who does not get the Post Messenger Recorder, the Hometown Herald , or cannot make the registration dates, please have them call Steve Meier at 424-3589 or email him at meier_ythfootball@yahoo.com. Anyone having financial problems with the fees or having any questions at all about our program, please do not hesitate to call or email me. We can make any arrangement necessary to register your child.

Equipment Exchange

If you have any cleats or other football equipment your Bobcat may have outgrown but is still in good condition and you want to clean out your closets, please drop the items off at 123 N. Grant Street in Belleville before July 25th . We will have a table set up with all of the items during our two registration sign-ups.

Important Dates

  • August 10, 11, and 12 - First week of practice.
  • August 28 - League weigh-ins at MATC - EVERYONE HAS TO BE THERE!
  • September 11 - First game.
